Basic Unit of Matter
I was not blogging for some time as one most curious thing happened.
It all felt just right.
The kid, the job, the relationships, the crafts - just right. I just did not have anything to complain about and it felt too weird to say: "You know, my life is in a such a nice homeostatic state I feel embaraced to point it out."
But it seems that this state is still ongoing and now it seems silly not to say anything.
Because, it isn't as if everything was well. Like, in the workplace I still daily get two meltdowns before lunch and go around groaning:" OH my fcukin God, it must take these people all their mental capacity just to get dressed in the morning and not wear their pants on their head!" And relationships are similarly messed up but it felt so appropriate I just did not fret. There was some frogging and some wips that turned into other wips before becoming FOs and I felt somehow pleasantly grown-up. I did some running (my cooper is still 1.9!) and some days I just went to bed right after work, not doing the dishes and not feeling lazy to leave them there.
Awkwardly beautiful and unexplicably present.
What brings me to another point...

Cycling Gloves
Lately I've been sad and tired and preoccupied with life mysteries so I hadn't had the spirit to write about this experience.
But I cooked and ate well. I socialised and entertained, I even went and saw exhibition "Elves" (Vilenjaci) in Zapresic.
I cycled and ran and hiked and practiced aerobics and stretched and did some yoga. I bought less and saved more and I managed to focus my energy on small steps that add up to big changes. Like acquiring new skills while still using them to make useful and usable things.
Exactly as this lovely new pair of Ringwoods made using new bind-off and weaving ends techniques.
I finished them yesterday during knitting group I thought to try for size and organize at my place on Thursdays.
They'll keep my hands toasty while I'm cycling on cold days.

MOCP Day 17 - Last FO You Used
100% wollen Ringwood Gloves.
We had lots of snow last few days so I had a chance to finally use my woolen Ringwoods.
Usually they are too warm and I don't like having my fingers completely covered so I wear my other pair of gloves with short fingers but now they were perfect. I shoveled snow, cleaned my car, dried them on radiator in my room - and they look and feel great! And to think they were free pattern!
Internet is such a wonderful tool for improving oneself.

Audit trail
In a few moments I will be getting up and leaving for work but now I'm still savoring the morning. This week is supposed to be terribly stressful and over-packed but I am prepared and confident. So let's step into it...

To Love Life
Few minutes ago I took this photo while waiting for my colleague so we could leave for Varazdin business trip. It is so beautiful and fulfilling to sit in the sun, enjoy the world, to work and get things done every day. I love it. To take the bitter (and there is so much bitter every day, so it seems) with the sweet and to sometimes let dolts be dolts.

More Taraxacums
Beautiful weather for taraxacum hunts. I love how this photo turned out - like it is artificially lighted even though it was taken as it is, in the woods, on less than perfect day light-wise.

Dandelion and a bee
It's so nice to work on days immediately before holidays because so few people work and there is serenity in the air.

Graduation Flowers
I got this beautiful flower bouquet (that my mum is holding) as a graduation present from a dear friend. Finally I have justified trust of everyone who believed in me against piling evidence that this graduation shall never happen.

Dreaming
There is an empty space, a temporary lapse of reason, there is an emotion missing. I've been lost in the workload lately. I've been lost in the linguistics lately. I've just realized there is separate and exquisite beauty both in a meaning and in a word. I suspect research is afoot.
